Bio for Donald Stoffle
Executive Director - Dispositions
Bringing more than two decades of commercial real estate investment experience to the role of Executive Director of Dispositions, Don Stoffle oversees all sales activity for First Industrial Realty Trust relative to its capital recycling program.
As Executive Director of First Industrial's dispositions division, Mr. Stoffle directs a team of 12 transaction professionals and is responsible for pricing, structure and contracts for all disposition activity on behalf of the company.
Over the course of his real estate career, Mr. Stoffle has gained extensive experience in acquisitions, dispositions, development, due diligence, market/site analysis, appraisals and construction/mini-perm lending. During his tenure at First Industrial, he has completed acquisitions totaling more than $1 billion and dispositions in excess of $5 billion.
Prior to his current role at First Industrial, Mr. Stoffle served as Senior Investment Officer of the company's Gulf/Mountain region where he was responsible for identifying, underwriting, negotiating/structuring and closing acquisitions, dispositions and redevelopments. Earlier, he was an Investment Associate for the company's Midwest region.
Before joining First Industrial, Mr. Stoffle was a Commercial Banking Officer in the real estate group of Bank of America Illinois. While there, he originated more than $175 million of mini-perm and construction loans.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in finance, Mr. Stoffle is an active member of the Chicago Real Estate Council (CREC) and holds an Illinois Real Estate Salesperson license.
