Bio for Thomas Trocheck

Director of Development - East Region

Thomas Trocheck With a career in development, construction and civil engineering spanning more than 30 years,Tom Trocheck brings a wealth of experience to First Industrial’s development and construction projects throughout the company’s East Region.

As Director of Development for First Industrial Realty Trust’s East Region based in Atlanta, Mr. Trocheck oversees development and construction projects for First Industrial and its corporate partners.

Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Trocheck was Director of Land Management and Development for Progress Energy, a Fortune 250 corporation based in Raleigh, N. C. Previously, he served as Vice President of Development for Trammell Crow Company in Atlanta and, earlier, held the position of Vice President of Development for Duke-Weeks Realty.

A registered engineer in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina and a member of the Board of Directors of the Research Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Mr. Trocheck holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University.
